Being a Responsible Host In Case of Emergency
Other Critical Incidents
Other critical incidents include medical emergencies, accidental injuries, fires, severe property damage, or even a natural disaster. In order to deal with these situations, it is important that the host not drink alcohol the night of the event. If you are drunk and unable to deal with an emergency, the consequences could be much worse than if you were sober and clear-thinking. This could result in civil and criminal charges for yourself and other party hosts.
Remaining sober is a vital part of being a responsible host. Another detail you may want to consider is whether your event needs insurance.
