Develop a Guest Parking Plan

From arguments related to parking spots, to people parking on a neighbor’s property to vandalism, a simple issue like parking can become a big headache.

Here are some tips on how to plan for event parking:

  1. Speak with your neighbors about where potential guests can and can’t park.
  2. Discuss parking limitations with your staff
  3. Do not allow guests to park on lawns, sidewalks, curbs or other restricted areas
  4. Make sure that people do not park in a way that would keep others from leaving
  5. Find a spot that is as well lit as possible for your guests to park

To ensure that the parking plan is followed by guests, you may need some extra help. For this and many other reasons, you should consider recruiting some help to make sure your event goes smoothly.
