Student Group Roles and Responsibilities

If your next event is going to be sponsored by your student organization, consider the rules of your organization when planning it. Become acquainted with these rules in advance. Also, you should know if your national organization will be held liable if something were to happen at your event. These and many other questions could be answered with a call to your organization’s national office.

Even if your organization is not officially sponsoring your next event, your campus may still consider it an official organization event. This could be the case if your event will be attended by a group of people from your student organization.
